\u00c1ngel Camacho aporta su granito de arena en la lucha contra la deforestaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s del proyecto WeForest, en colaboraci\u00f3n con DKV Seguros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante este 2024, se han plantado 116 \u00e1rboles, de un total de 4.157, en la Reserva Forestal de Mount Mulanje, Malawi, como parte de un esfuerzo para restaurar 24.400 hect\u00e1reas antes del 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mount Mulanje, la monta\u00f1a m\u00e1s alta de Malawi, alberga al cedro de Mulanje, el \u00e1rbol nacional del pa\u00eds. A principios del siglo XX, un tercio de la superficie terrestre de Malawi estaba cubierta por bosques, pero actualmente se ha perdido el 65%, con una d\u00e9cima parte de esa p\u00e9rdida ocurriendo en los \u00faltimos 10 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para revertir esta tendencia, se est\u00e1n plantando \u00e1rboles para restaurar el bosque afromontano con el end\u00e9mico cedro de Mulanje y el bosque de miombo circundante, conocido por su gran diversidad de especies. Esta iniciativa es vital no solo para la biodiversidad, sino tambi\u00e9n para el suministro de agua de las comunidades locales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La participaci\u00f3n en este proyecto refleja el compromiso de \u00c1ngel Camacho con la sostenibilidad y el medio ambiente, siendo un orgullo contribuir a la protecci\u00f3n y recuperaci\u00f3n de estos importantes ecosistemas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
