Sustainable management of resources

Environmental protection is a strategic aspect for Ángel Camacho, which has implemented different Environmental and Energy Management Systems with a threefold objective:

  • Continuous improvement in the management of natural resources
  • Reducing water and energy consumption
  • Reducing emissions, waste and food waste

The company strives to do the things it does today better tomorrow. Innovation and continuous improvement allow us to reduce the impact of our activities, minimising emissions and using natural resources more responsibly. We are supported by new technologies, which are systematically monitored with external verification and certification.

Reducing the environmental footprint

The aim is to further reduce the water footprint and carbon footprint of our organisation. To achieve this, we work to optimise our processes to reduce water consumption and emissions in production processes, favouring energy efficiency and replacing polluting materials for others that are more environmentally friendly. We carry out R&D projects that promote more sustainable performance, such as the installation of photovoltaic panels in our facilities to generate a large part of the energy consumed.

Environmental Statement

With a commitment to sustainability comes a responsibility to account for environmental performance in a transparent, accurate and comparable manner. For this reason, the company produces an annual Environmental Statement with all the data related to consumption (water, energy, raw materials), emissions and waste derived from its activity.

he Environmental Statement also sets out the company’s environmental objectives, the timeframe for their achievement and periodic review, the targets and actions for their achievement, the people responsible for the actions implemented and the resources required to achieve them.
